Smart Pass is a solution of optical reading automating the data capture either from webcam or from many official ID Documents, i.e. the Italian ID Document [paper or card] and Driver License, and standard ICAO Passports. Smart Pass recognizes different data field types and digitizes the related information content such as ICAO data, text and picture of the document. This allows the storage of personal information in a database, and the further use of such data for different enrollment or accreditation applications. One of the most relevant benefit of Smart Pass is its capability to speed up check in procedures and to avoid the manual input of information.
